The Train the Trainer Workshop is a half day activity to train people on how to utilise the Minderoo Resilient Communities Framework to engage vulnerable communities and discuss their resilience. The workshop will teach people how to identify strengths, vulnerabilities and resilience building activities within local communities.

About the workshop

Do you want to learn how to better prepare your community against future disaster risk? Or maybe you want to help another community prepare against future disaster risk?

Join our workshop activity to come away with a better understanding of how communities can analyse, evaluate and strengthen their resilience to disaster risk through resilience building activities.

What to expect

The Workshop activity involves:

  • An introduction to the Minderoo Resilient Communities Framework
  • Deep dives into the critical issues of resilience in your and other Australian communities.
  • Discussion around how to construct evidence-based resilience building initiatives.
